Now that I am entering into my slow season, it is time for product photography and commercial work. I find it fun to change it up and do pictures of still objects every once in a while.
On the day before Christmas Eve this adorable couple walked in with their dog. They wanted to do Christmas gifts for their parents and luckily I was able to squeeze them in for a “mini” session. It was snowing and gorgeous out. Their dog had the craziest yellow eyes! Here they are!

I am testing my blog right now. I am going to be making some major changes to it, to try to make it prettier and easier to navigate. These are pictures from my own wedding in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. These were taken by Verve Studio. Our wedding was amazing. It was 75 degrees! Couldn’t have been better.
I had the opportunity to work with another great family from Colorado Academy. Cody is a really polite guy, and we got to do pictures with his sweet car he got for his 16th birthday. Really any time of the year we can get great senior pictures, but these pictures were done in the middle of the winter. It’s fun to do urban senior pics too because even when the weather is bad, you can’t tell in the pictures.

He does artwork with spray paint, so we wanted to capture some of that!

Although I specialize in doing unique, contemporary senior pics, sometimes it is nice to get a formal senior portrait as well. He really cleaned up nice 
I am offering a free session fee for any solo kid photography session. *normally $150 (this is to get your child that special 1 on 1 yearly session they deserve!) The session can be in studio, or outdoor. Is your child turning 1? Let’s do pictures of them devouring a birthday cake! This special will run during the month of March.
I had the opportunity to do some maternity photos this week in Downtown Littleton. It was really fun. She is due next month. I cannot believe it, but she is waiting to find out the sex of the baby. I definitely would not have the patience to wait to find out! I normally do in studio shots for maternity, but it was fun to go and do unique outdoor maternity shots this time.
This weekend we participated in a bridal show in Denver. It went really well.
We had a lot of fun. Kiel wore a ball and chain to draw attention. Most people thought it was really funny, but there were a few people that didn’t find it very amusing. Oh well, I thought it was fun.
We had a lot of new wedding albums to display at the show. They seemed to be a hit. I really love the new contemporary wedding albums. Our display booth turned out really nice thanks to Will.
We had all of our pictures plaque mounted by artist showcase.
We also did a fun drawing where we put prizes inside little froggies. I had ribbon made that had our website and phone # on it. Way cute!
My mom came and helped with the event. Isn’t she cute?
About 4 years ago I took portraits of the cutest little baby. This was before I opened element one, and was for a different studio. Her mom happened to be browsing photographers online and liked my website. She starting booking an appointment with me for her new 6 month old son and we realized I had taken her daughters pictures at 6 months old. What a small world. I remembered the little girl because she made the cutest little faces. Especially the Uh-Oh face she made. I absolutely love children’s photography. It is so fun.
